Shop Foreman
Full time position at a large GM dealership. Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. this position comes with full time benefits including, health, dental, vision, 401K and profit sharing. This candidate must have a valid drivers license. Duties will include the following:
Coordinate tasks according to priorities and schedule
Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
Allocate general and daily responsibilities
Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
Supervise the use of equipment
Resolve problems when they arise
Load shop at end of day for next day work
Monitor new vehicle shipments to properly prepare
Have new vehicle PDI’s Scheduled
Have Used vehicle groups scheduled
Monitor labor hours Daily to ensure goals are met
Monitor Saturday Hours and Tech Schedule
Encourage a positive work environment
Be a positive role model to staff
Work directly with service advisors with scheduling
Lead new techs in positive procedures
